Jessica, Thanks for sharing some ways to help recruit, retain and recognize volunteers through the use of social media. I especially like some of your tips for using social media for volunteer recognition. I will have t try the Foursquare idea for my next event.

Keeping volunteers engaged is so important! Thanks for the helpful and timely tips!

Jessica,
I really appreciated that you suggested writing a note of thanks on a volunteer's Facebook page. With one out of three volunteers dropping out (see http://tinyurl.com/lmvjgz) according to the Corporation for National and Community Service, we've all got to do a better job creating rewarding experiences for our volunteers. And that includes appreciating each one for the work they've done.
Thank you for a list of really wonderful ideas.
Gayle

You ought to get that sort of interactive spirit heading so you can actually build a loyal readership with your website.

Understanding how you can generate a loyal readership along with your webpage is incredibly important if you want your webpage to thrive. It really is all in regards to the people, and ensuring they are mindful of your respective website and really enjoy your information.
