Volunteer software to schedule volunteers is something available to many organizations, usually for a fee ranging from $99 to $395 or even more for enterprise level systems. And like many software packages, it takes orientation and training to learn to use these effectively - an especially difficult hurdle when it may be a very part-time volunteer running the system.
