We put out the call to bloggers and tweeters asking for help in promoting local service during National Family Volunteer Day (Nov. 21) and throughout the holiday season with our Giving Tree Giveaway sponsored by Arbor Day Foundation -- and we have been both touched and humbled by the incredible response. Literally within hours, big posts had gone up everywhere - promoting the importance of holiday service and inviting readers to give back to their communities in meaningful ways.
