Last week I walked you through the steps to becoming the ultimate gift giver, this week I thought I'd give you a few clutter free ideas for homemade gifts.
These days homemade gifts can be much more than that go-to plate of cookies. There are recipes for anything from gluten free to traditional casseroles. But don't stop at the kitchen {we all know I don't, with my ability to burn water and all}. Look for inspiration in unique ways too.
Most importantly, all elements of the gift serve a purpose. A mason jar full of goodies during the holidays can turn into a vase during another season or the chef's gift of cooking supplies are all things they need to make a gourmet meal.
Remember having a sense of directions helps keep clutter at bay.

Homemade gifts can come in the form of a finished project, but I've also been known to give the perfect brown paper bag - complete with premeasured ingredients for a favorite meal or tools from a wishlist. Something like this, but not quite as fancy:
No matter what homemade gifts inspire you this season be sure to consider how "clutter free" you can make the gesture.
