Please tell us about your organization and volunteer needs.
I am the coordinator for the Branson High School Men's Soccer Booster Club, where we raise money to provide special sporting shirts for the soccer players, meals for game days, and supplies for beginning and ending of the season celebrations. We need volunteers to work concession stands at home and away sporting events.
Explain how you use VolunteerSpot?
We rely on all of the parents to volunteer to work in concessions at least two times during the season. I listed each home game with the various time slots and number of volunteers needed for each slot, sent flyers home with the boys and I emailed those parents using VolunteerSpot. All I had to do next was sit back and watch spots get filled. I even receive confirmation emails and automated reminders sent to my volunteers!
