No Carve Pumpkin Party Ideas
Keep it simple! First up, tell everyone to bring their own pumpkin (real or faux) then supply a bunch of crafty creative supplies. Give out decorating suggestions or let them come up with their own. Make it a specific theme decorating party or simply all things creepy & Halloween-y.
{{TIP: Ask for help supplying the craft materials by creating a SignUp.com digital signup a couple weeks before the party.}}
Possible Supplies: paint, glitter, sequins, pom-poms, paper cut-outs, funky duct-tape, stickers, Washi Tape, small candy, glue and glue dots or hot glue gun, Halloween papers, scissors, stamps, punches.
Make sure you always have adult supervision with any power tools, dry ice or knives! Kids love the mess and fun of cleaning out pumpkins and then carving them. Maybe ask everyone to cut the top opening and remove the pulp and seeds before coming to the party so they can get right to the carving fun.
Give everyone several easy carving ideas with instructions clearly written out and ask people to bring different carving supplies. Use SignUp.com to make this part easy.
Carving Tools: 2 or 3 drills, several large circular drill bits, 4 or 5 kid-friendly Pumpkin carving knives, dry erase markers (for marking designs-with easy removal!).
